Nova Collect is an AI-powered, healthcare-focused patient account resolution company that supports medical and dental providers through provider-branded early-stage servicing and, where appropriate, licensed third-party debt collection.
Our services are limited to activities permitted under applicable federal and state law. Nova Collect is not a healthcare provider, billing company, insurer, or law firm
Nova Collect operates under documented compliance policies, procedures, and system controls designed to align with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), CFPB Regulation F, and applicable state law.
Our workflows include required disclosures, validation notice delivery, lawful dispute handling, communication timing and frequency controls, and enforcement of cease-communication and limited-contact requests. Credit reporting and statute-of-limitations issues are handled conservatively and only where legally permitted and provider-approved.
Early-stage account servicing programs are structured to remain below federal call-frequency presumptions, with activity adjusted based on account status, consumer response, and legal requirements.
Our approach is designed to reduce friction and protect provider reputation. We emphasize respectful communication, clear explanations, lawful outreach practices, and consideration of payment arrangements where appropriate and authorized.
While any outreach regarding outstanding balances carries some sensitivity, our model prioritizes professionalism, transparency, and compliance to help providers resolve balances without unnecessary strain on patient relationships.
Revenue Optimization is a provider-authorized, non-collection account servicing program for accounts approximately 60–120 days past due. It focuses on voluntary balance resolution through provider-branded communication, clear payment pathways, and patient-friendly outreach prior to any collection referral, helping accelerate cash flow while preserving the provider–patient relationship.
Recovery Enforcement applies to accounts that remain unresolved after early-out servicing and consists of licensed third-party debt collection conducted under Nova Collect’s name in accordance with the FDCPA, CFPB Regulation F, and applicable state law, including required disclosures, validation notices, and consumer rights protections.
All services operate within defined legal, regulatory, and consumer protection requirements, with a clear separation between early-out servicing and debt collection activity
Yes. Providers retain control over which accounts are placed, placement timing, recall decisions, settlement parameters, and whether optional actions—such as credit reporting where legally permitted—are authorized.

Our services are limited to lawful account servicing and, where applicable, licensed medical and dental debt collection activities authorized by the provider.

If you are unable to pay the full balance at once, you may contact us to discuss your situation. Depending on the account, the healthcare provider’s instructions, and applicable law, payment arrangements or other resolution options may be available.
You are not required to agree to a payment plan, and contacting us does not waive any of your rights.
You have the right to dispute the account and/or request written verification. Information on how to submit a dispute or validation request is provided in the written notice sent to you.
If a dispute is received in accordance with applicable law, required verification will be provided before further collection activity continues.
Nova Collect does not report medical or dental accounts to consumer credit reporting agencies unless reporting is permitted by law and authorized by the healthcare provider.
If credit reporting applies, it is handled strictly in accordance with applicable federal and state law, required notices, waiting periods, and consumer dispute rights. Whether an account is reported depends on the specific circumstances of the account.
We may contact you by phone, mail, email, or text message where permitted by law. Communications occur only during legally permitted hours.
You may request limits on how or when we communicate, opt out of certain communication methods, or request that we cease communications, subject to applicable legal requirements. Lawful communication preferences are honored and documented.
